We came across this awesome life/productivity boosting post on Behance over a year ago and thought it time to share the goodness.
Behance just started collaborating with a group of fourteen established blogs, all very different, but all with a shared interest in helping people increase productivity (among other self-improvements). We call this collaboration “LifeRemix.” The Behance team sees this as a great opportunity to share our tips for productivity beyond the creative professional community.

We’re proud to announce we’ve been invited to submit our work for consideration in Rockport’s best-selling, international publication – Letterhead and Logo Design 11. An annual series featuring the most innovative and exciting work in the field from well-known design leaders, new design firms, and cutting-edge artists.

Our poster developed to showcase the talent of Calibre Global’s young engineers at the 2008 Young Engineers National Summit has just been delivered.

Pleased to report that all systems are now go! We had a slight hiccup with the site IE. We changed our hosting, updated to Wordpress 2.6 and in the process corrupted our database file. No biggie? Just restore it from backup I hear you say….but ahhh, we then discovered our backup schedule had gone a little astray and was last backed up in June. Damn.
Big thanks to Greg and his team at PerthWeb, who rebuilt the database and restored all the posts, bar one, from Google’s cache files – now trust me, that’s a “One PowerBall and I’m outta here” kind of job.
Well, we’re back on track now and it’s safe to say, a more robust backup schedule is now in place.

Sorry folks, but we’ve been experiencing some major technical problems with the back end of our site over the last few days. A number of people have been working tirelessly to find a fix (big shoutout to Greg at PerthWeb). We hope to have it all fixed and back the way it was very soon. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

We’re very proud to announce that we’ll be working with an icon of the Australian outback – The Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS). The RDFS is the first, largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisation in the world and is a not-for-profit charitable Service providing aeromedical emergency and primary health care services together with communication and education assistance to people who live, work and travel in regional and remote Australia.

Much to the chagrin of my old man (an ex-journo) – I get very little of my news and current affairs from ‘traditional’ news outlets. I rarely watch TV news (especially commercial channels) and I only buy one newspaper a week – on Saturday – and that’s for the comic section.

Great, aesthetically pleasing design needn’t be limited to traditional architectural forms such as houses and public buildings. Utilitarian spaces, such as car parks, present architects and designers with a unique opportunity to bring beauty and harmony to the everyday functional spaces that are normally ignored by great design minds. We’re excited to report that the tide is changing, evidenced by these good-looking car parks.

Extending from 100 St Georges Terrace through to the Hay Street Mall, Century City is destined to become the major new shopping destination in the heart of Western Australia’s vibrant capital. Axiom have been selected to develop an interpretive graphics installation to the lobby of this prestigious Perth development.
The first three levels of this landmark building will be dedicated to attractive, well planned retail space, with a leading-edge office tower comprising the 17 levels above. Easy vertical access will connect all floors to the shopping levels. Century City will be an iconic building in the heart of Perth’s vibrant CBD.

You’ve all heard of product placement, but this takes it to a whole new level.
