HP-Invent

Came across this little short film called HP-Invent by Tom Wrigglesworth and Matt Robinson – a couple of Kingston University graduates in the UK.

This little effort was for the annual D&AD Student Awards based on brief set by HP – “Present an idea which promotes HP Workstations ability to bring to life anything the creative mind can conceive.”

Oh the irony.

Here’s a little snippet from an article on the BBC news website – part of the Changing Cityscapes series and this time focussing on architecture and town planning in Manchester.

“In fact, if it isn’t iconic or iconic-in-the-making, then it probably won’t get passed by the Planning Department.”

Who’s the clown that designed this?

In our continuing rhetoric on all things typographically crap – we add yet another font to our Design Hall of Shame.

Seasons Greetings

Well, it’s certainly been one hell of a big year. We were privileged to a host of interesting and challenging new projects and welcomed several new clients to Axiom.

A diverse array of re-brands, the creation of some new brands and management of existing ones, this year we had the architectural, communications, engineering, financial, mining, property and solar energy sectors covered.

We also undertook a range of exciting signage projects for iconic Perth projects such as Century City, Fremantle Prison, Kings Park and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
